Himalayan Bhakti Immersion with David Newman and Shantala
Start time: 12:00 pm on Tuesday, October 03, 2017“In India, yoga flows with the blood of the people.”
–Neem Karoli Baba
Madhuban means “Abode of Honey”, and it’s nestled on a Himalayan hillside among orchards, overlooking a river that meanders between looming hills. It’s just 12 km from Kainchi Ashram, where Neem Karoli Baba’s presence still resonates from the sacred Earth.
This trip is an offering from our hearts to yours. We will gather in the sacred and beautiful atmosphere of the Himalayas, and inhale the deep resonating hum that permeates the majestic mountainous region known as the Kumaon Hills. We will bathe in the grace of Neem Karoli Baba, and other great Indian Saints who have walked these sacred mountains, leaving their blessings to inspire spiritual aspirants for millennia. Staying at the pristine Madhuban retreat center, nestled in the exalted Himalayan foothills, we will meditate, chant, and pray together, while embarking on day trips to the many sacred sites in the region, including Neem Karoli Baba’s magical Kainchi Ashram!
